The Diesel Funk SHow

Creators and Hosts of The Diesel Funk Show, a glogging web series based out of NYC, USA | J. Fielder ● Filmmaker | T. Fielder ● Graphic Artist
Jim and Tim Fielders are twin brothers that jointly interview subjects using a method called ‘Glogging’ (Vlogging with Graphics). While interviewing, Jim films via 4K cameras and Tim illustrates the subject on his iPad Pro (formerly a Wacom Cintiq Hybrid tablet). If you can imagine a program that is a blend of HGTV’s Property Brothers, Charlie Rose, and Bob Ross then you’ve got their show.
The genesis of this concept was generated during a collaboration with Joyce Brabner’s COMIXCAST. They  have glogged at the Republican National Convention, Democratic National Convention, and Star Trek 50th Anniversary show at Jacob Javits in NYC.  They have been covered by The New York Times as well as CNET.

It’s Vlogging, with Graphics

Working with these brothers is a charm unto itself. It is a fun, chaotic, wonderful rush of adrenaline and joy. They do what they can, and they don’t take things too seriously. But their grind never seizes to amaze me.

Tim brings the awe with his rendition of the spirit of the subject, while Jim captures the moments while bringing the questions to whomever is willing. They are gloggers, detailing their travels and experiences one question, one frame, and one portrait at a time through video and graphical docuemntation.

It’s a honor to be working with these two talented brothers, one of whom is a decade old mentor from my senior year of high school, and I hope to help render their vision on screens across the globe.
